DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (11/19) – Sophomore Shannon Walter scored a goal in each half to lead the fifth-seeded Martin Methodist women's soccer team to a 2-0 upset of top-seeded Lee (Tenn.) in the first semifinal of the 2007 NAIA National Championship on Monday. Pulaski, TN - (5/8) Martin Methodist College accepts the resignation of women’s basketball coach Nikki Sullivan as she pursuits other coaching opportunities out of state. Coach Sullivan inherited a women’s basketball team, in 2004, which had experienced only six wins the previous year. This past year Coach Sullivan’s RedHawks posted a 19 – 13 campaign, while advancing to the semi-finals of a very competitive TranSouth Athletic Conference tournament. And if this is not optimistic enough, the RedHawks only lost one senior to graduation this year.
