Softball: RedHawks Ink Ezell for 2011   printer  

Martin Methodist College Head Softball Coach Brandie Paul signed Caroline Ezell of Loretto High School. Ezell is a right-handed pitcher/outfielder from Loretto, Tennessee.
 
Under Head Coach J.T. Weeks at LHS Ezell has been named 10AA All-District First Team for three straight years. Last season as a junior she led the Mustangs to 10AA District Regular Season Championships and District Tournament Championship on the mound. She received Loretto’s Team MVP Award and was also selected Class AA First Team by the MTSCA (Middle Tennessee Softball Coach’s Association). She recorded 162 strike-outs last season, with an ERA of 1.35 in 182 innings pitched. Ezell is also an All-District and All-Region performer on the Mustang’s volleyball team.
 
On the academic side of things she was on the MTSCA 2009 ALL ACADEMIC TEAM, is a member of the Gold Record Club which is the school’s top academic ranking. She is also active as the Senior Class President and participated in the American Legion Auxiliary Girl’s State as well as graduating from the Leadership Lawrence County program.
