Volleyball: RedHawks Start Season out Strong   printer  

PULASKI, Tenn. (8/31) – The 2009 Volleyball season started out on the right foot for the RedHawks this season. Martin Methodist hosted Tennessee Temple University tonight at the Curry Christian Life Center. The RedHawks handed the Crusaders a quick 3-0 loss winning 25-12, 25-14, 25-6.
 
In front of a pack house the Martin Methodist volleyball team put on a good show in their home opener. Freshman setter Caroline Santos had 20 assists in the win. Precious Sanders and Jhessica Martins both had seven kills.
 
The RedHawks will play again at home this week as they Bethel University on Thursday at 7:00 in a TranSouth Conference match.
