Women’s Tennis: RedHawks Get Big Win over UAH   printer  

(3/30) – The Martin Methodist College Women’s Tennis team got their first team win ever over NCAA Division II University of Alabama-Huntsville last Friday. The RedHawks had a clean sweep winning the match 9-0.
 
All of the ladies won their respective matches in doubles and singles. In singles, Anastasia Aleshcheva won by a score of 6-4, 6-4. Mikaela Long won by a score of 1-6, 6-0, 6-1. Natalia Takara beat her opponent 6-2, 6-0. Jeanna Stanford won in the four spot by a score of 6-1, 6-3 and Fidelina Daiz won 6-4, 6-0 to round out the RedHawks squad.
 
The ladies will be on the court again today as they host Lambuth University at 2:30.
