Women's Basketball: Senior Night PoemToday is it, it's Senior Night!
You wanna leave a legacy, so put up a good fight.
When you leave MMC, life will never be the same;
You'll miss all your fellow teammates who had so much game.
As much as you'll miss us, there's something to confess:
I'll also miss you guys, more than you'll ever guess.
To Vashun, I'd like to say,
The bruises you give never go away.
Your flesh wounds and thumps
Leave awfully bad bumps.
But everyone knows you only abuse with love,
So I apologize for always giving you a shove.
Next is Hawkins, or Jennifer we may call.
I'm really sorry for nailing you in the shoulder with that little blue ball!
I'll always remember your spunky personality,
So please forgive me of my sudden brutality.
Last but certainly not least, is Kaneka Brown.
You always know exactly how to cook my HASH rounds! : )
Hakuna Matata is such a wonderful phrase;
I will never ever forget that hilarious face.
You're always there to talk when I'm feeling down & dull,
Even though your friend BIG T nearly cracked my skull!
I love you guys so much and don't know how I'll make it without you;
My memory better be stuck in your head just as if it were glue!
I expect you to keep this poem forever and hang it on your wall!
And never forget '09 Redhawk Basketball!!
--I love you guys so so so much and am gonna miss yall like crazy!! Enjoy the poem and have a great night!!
Love,
