Women’s Bowling: Haley Beavis Leads RedHawks   printer  

The RedHawks Women’s Bowling Team has competed in three tournaments so far this fall. Haley Beavis has placed in the top five in each tournament.
 
Martin Methodist has competed in the Storm Brickyard Classic in Indianapolis, Ind., the Orange and Black Classic in Beavercreek, Ohio, and the Brunswick Southern Classic in Marietta, Ga. The RedHawks placed 15th in the Storm Brickyard Classic, 7th in the Orange and Black Classic and 4th in the Brunswick Southern Classic.
 
In the Storm Brickyard Classic Haley Beavis placed fourth with a score of 1124 in six games. Emily Bowers placed tenth with a score of 1045 in six games, Teri Broughton placed 35th and Courtney Spaulding placed 49th for the RedHawks.
 
At the Orange and Black Classic Haley Beavis placed second just 30 points behind the winner with a score of 1307 in six games. Leaudra Byrd placed 47th, Teri Broughton placed 52nd, and Courtney Spaulding placed 57th.
 
In the RedHawks most recent tournament they place fourth with Pikeville College winning the tournament. Haley Beavis was fourth individually with a score of 1423 in seven games. Teri Broughton was right behind her at fifth place with a score of 1355 in seven games. Emily Bowers placed 18th and Courtney Spaulding placed 30th.
